Once filled, place feeders in a few different open spaces to avoid overcrowding & the threat from potential predators.
Feed all year round, especially during the breeding season & colder winter months.
Make sure the birds have access to clean water for bathing and drinking.
Cleaning your feeder:
It’s important to clean feeders regularly by removing uneaten, wet food & clean using a mild, safe disinfectant & rinsing thoroughly with water.
We also recommend moving feeders to different areas of the garden as this will all help to prevent the onset of harmful bacteria & potential disease.
