Stock Description: Superb group of Holstein in calf heifers, 43 due to calve in Oct and 6 in Nov in calf to named Hereford sire. These heifers are very well grown all born in Aug 22, calving in at 26 months. They have width and strength with tremendous body depth with plenty of dairy character without being extreme. They look smart underneath also with their udders looking very clean and promising. A very smart group of commercial heifers. The heifers are all Ai sired by ST Genetic bulls Westcoast Perseus and Peak Phenomenon. Both sire are +% for fat and Protein.
Production Capacity: They originate from a high yielding block calved herd, herd average consistently over 10500 litres with 4.3 fat 3.3 pro. The herd is milk recorded and Johnes tested 4 times per year. Johnes is at less than 0.5%.
TB Status: The heifers are located in 12 month testing area with no cases of TB been on farm.
Health Status: They have not been vaccinated for Ibr, Lepto or BVD. 49 heifers were served and all scanned positive. They have had regular worming and fly treatment.
