Stock Description: Another group of very well grown heifers - deep bodied, loads of condition, clean healthy coats. Calving in February and March to a combination of Friesian sexed semen, Angus AI and then Angus stock bull. While they are excellent heifers to the eye, their excellence is greatened by herd they are born to – a true longstanding crossbred herd built from the best Irish & New Zealand genetics with 20+ years.
Production Capacity: Source herd is one of the highest kg solids output herds out there, delivering to the coop 535kgMS/cow annually.
The cherry on top is the solids percentages of the herd @ 5.05% fat and 3.85% protein – putting it in the top 1% and 2% in the country, respectively. Goes without saying in the top 3% for milk price also.
Worth noting that, from the dams of the 31 heifers offered, approximately half of them have produced milk in excess of 5% fat and 4% protein and the average PTA’s of all the heifers show on average they will repeat the heights of their dams.
