Stock Description: Here we have an entire group of unselected homebred in calf heifers up for sale. NZ breeding LIC sires Foray, Sovereign and Krypton these being both Friesian and x bred sires. The heifers are due to calve from early Feb and all due in a 7 week block in calf to well bred x bred stock bulls. The heifers are very uniform and in great condition ahead of winter. Majority of the group are that much desired dark chocolate colour. Only for sale due to ceasing milk production.
Production Capacity: The herd is a typical NZ style herd based around milk from grass and is achieving 5570 litres milk sold @ 4.7 fat 3.6 pro, 476 kg milk solids per cow coming from a 480=500 kg liveweight cow.
Age & Lactation: The heifers will all be calving around 24 months being Feb/Mar 23 born.
TB Status: The herd is in a 6 month testing area with the heifers passing their test recently.
Health Status: The herd monitors for Johnes with protocols in place, also routinely test's for Bvd, Lepto and Ibr with no presence in the herd.
