Stock Description: Lovely group of homebred Holstein incalf heifers due January Februray to Aberdeen Angus named bull. This superb group are all homebred from a dispersed AYR calving herd. They are well grown and mostly on target to calve at 2 years of age with a few nearer 2.5 years. They have been bred for type with very correct udder traits for milking with the robots. This shows with the very correct deep bodied smart heifers that will go on and last. They are all sired by Genus AI Holstein bulls (Amplify, Seville, Sedonna, Pivot, Yikes).
Production Capacity: The dispersed herd was robot milked with very good yields and milk solids. The milk was sold on a constituents contract and they were bred for this. The herd was milk recorded and the dams records are available. They are all AI sired and have been for generations.
Age & Lactation: 2 - 2.5 Years
TB Status: The heifers are located in a six month testing area but have had no issues with tb on this holding.
Health Status: They have been vaccinated for BVD and Lepto. The herd was Johnes monitored with regular testing with no issues.
